A new reference book 'World Travel and Tourism - Africa' has been published by the English publishing house World of Information of Saffron Walden, Essex in concunction with the World Travel & Tourism Council.
Ist 352 pages contain details of 13.500 tourist and travel authorities, associations, organisations, services, media etc. in 59 countries, from Algeria to Zimbabwe.
With 31 pages and 1.600 entries, South Africa is the largest section. Tristan da Cunha (an island in the South Atlantic) with 31 entries, the smallest.
The index is clearly set out in the following categories, followed by several sub-categories:
The appendix contains extensive lists of addresses of international associations, organisations and services.
The newest country-wide changes of telephone and fax numbers in Algeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Madagascar, Morocco, Senegal, Swaziland and Tanzania are taken into account and most entries include email and website addresses.
A 'must' for travel industry professionals, media, researchers, governments, libraries, educational and other institutions, business and pleasure travellers.
